Baby Ponte was born September 30th at 1:16am (after 27 hours of labour).  She is perfectly healthy so far, ten fingers, ten toes, all that good stuff.
Her name is Haidyn.  I will NOT be posting pictures of her, however, as my husband and I have agreed for safety reason that we will not be posting pictures of her for as long as possible.  Nowhere. 
I do have to say she is probably the most perfect baby I've ever seen, in my life.  But I'm a little biased....

She has medium brown hair with an auburn tinge, skin that's on the pale side, and brown eyes.  She looks like my side of the family a lot right now, but things change... and she got the brown eyes from her dad  

Right now she's just shy of 3 weeks old, and constantly hungry.  I'm not getting much sleep, but I'm far more concerned about her health and well-being than my sanity, at the moment.  Plus, it's my own choice - I refuse to give her formula just so I can possibly sleep an extra half hour. 

My art is still on hold.  Can't do much with just one hand free.  I figured this is how it would be.  I'll give her a few months, then I'll try to get some art done.... maybe.  We'll see.
